Mary Nisi is an old timer around these parts, as she was a founding member of CHIRP, the director of the Record Fair & Other Delights for ten(!) years, and remembers a time when the Smiths were actually a band. From time to time, she requests that you get off her lawn. She is the owner of Toast & Jam DJs, a DJ company that guarantees you will never hear the "Macarena" at your wedding. She also owns Ampersand Cowork, a coworking and events space in Logan Square. Mary has a really awesome little boy and has several cats and enjoys sewing and skiing and yoga, sometimes all at once. Mary is the host of the Noonday Underground, Mondays 12-3pm CST.
